Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Hull UK
East Riding Council have introduced two new spinning rooms at Haltemprice Leisure Centre in Hull and wanted dynamic colour change lighting to complete the rooms.
The project encompasses two distinct rooms, each adorned with Tryka’s BOA RGBW indoor tape light encircling the top and bottom perimeters. In addition to this, one of the rooms boasts Tryka’s Aura 5 RGBW fixtures integrated into the ceiling, serving as ambient house lighting.
To ensure seamless control and adaptability, both rooms are equipped with their own ColourStyle controller. This sophisticated control system empowers the instructor to effortlessly tailor the lighting to suit the specific requirements of each exercise or class. Furthermore, the system offers a dynamic feature where the lights can synchronize with the rhythm of the music, thanks to Mode’s innovative light-to-sound mode.
The overall project was conceptualised and designed by LEDA, while the meticulous installation was executed by GW Powersafe. The lighting fixtures and control systems were supplied by Tryka L.E.D Ltd, with ECS Limited taking charge of the addressing and commissioning of the entire system. The collaborative efforts of these entities have resulted in a harmonious integration of lighting elements, providing a versatile and engaging environment for various activities within the designated spaces.
