Aberystwyth have a managed emergency lighting system in all of their accommodation blocks.

Balfour Beatty sought assistance with their DALI emergency lighting system, prompting ECS to conduct a comprehensive site health check. The assessment revealed that the system required significant attention. To address this, ECS provided a state-of-the-art Pharos LPC 2, replacing two outdated Pharos TPC units. This upgrade not only minimises the risk of product failure over time but also consolidates controls into a single, convenient location.

ECS went on to fully commission and re-address the entire system, ensuring that the client can now utilise it as originally intended. The project encompasses 26 accommodation blocks, each equipped with emergency lighting in all communal areas. Each block is seamlessly connected to the Pharos LPC 2 through its dedicated RIO D, streamlining the management and enhancing the overall efficiency of the emergency lighting system.
